Bespoke Sofa Company is the modern adaptation of the New York City based, to-the-trade furniture company — Classic Sofa of NY has over 40 years of experience manufacturing the best upholstered furniture in the country. We are proud to offer Classic Sofa’s level quality, usually only available to interior designers and architects, now available to the public at the Bespoke Sofa Company.
Using tried and true practices from Old World methods of manufacturing, our team of master artisans create your one-of-a-kind dream sofa in 3 weeks. All pieces are built to last generations using only the best hardwood poplar and hand tied springs. Our proprietary cushioning of a foam core with a down feather duvet-like wrap creates the most comfortable cushioning available in the industry. Hypoallergenic and vegan friendly options are also available.

Blake’s energy, passion for the design industry and constant pursuit for perfection can be understood immediately upon meeting him. The mantra that there is no room for mediocrity and if one sets out to do something, to never give up and make certain it is done right is the energy that is transferred to each project he dedicates time to.
With an engineering background from Vanderbilt University, Blake tailored his strong technical foundations to the complexities of furniture design. First working in finance for 3 years after university, he then decided that he was better suited in a more creative and tactile industry and took a risk to purchase the established custom furniture brand, Classic Sofa of NY. Through the depths of the Great Recession, he worked tirelessly to bootstrap the brand that was in dire need of restructuring.
After 10 years of hard work and dedication to the dream of creating the best custom furniture in the country, Classic Sofa is now known as the preeminent to the trade factory in the New York area. Honing his skills by working with the best designers and architects in the design world, Blake’s eye for perfection continued to be developed and he releases new furniture designs every year.
Bespoke Sofa Company was born with Blake’s desire to bring the same quality and customization that is usually only available to interior designers and architects to the main market. He noticed too many people are stuck with the same boring vision that the big details stores were pushing to market. Blake’s dream of opening Pandora’s Box of design possibilities and making that available at a click of a button was manifested in the creation of Bespoke Sofa Company.
